Our Building

January 2014
When I put Ava's picture on the blog with her new baptism dress I realized that she was standing in the same place that we stood at to have our picture taken for our mission paperwork.  It got me thinking about this building that we have attended since it opened.  We started attending church at the building on Hesperia Road when we first moved to Victorville.  From there we moved to Apple Valley to the Tuscola Building where Andy and Angela now attend.  We then did a short stint at the Ward Building in Hesperia while the new Victorville Stake Center was being built on Ridgecrest. and then we remained there except for a short time when we met at the Jeraldo building where Ben and Becky and Andy and Angela had their wedding receptions.

With Ava's baptism on Saturday in that same building which is now the Apple Valley Stake Center we have had some wonderful memories within its walls.  Amy's baptism, seminary for the older boys, seminary graduation and talk by Ben, Primary activities, Relief Society meetings, conferences before we could watch from our own living room. Scouting, Saturday night dances, Scott's service as Bishop, my assignment to schedule the use of the building, wedding reception for Bill and Cathy, Scott's retirement party and the list continues to go on.  It is wonderful to realize that much of the best parts of our life have happened in that building on Ridgecrest.
