I decided that I wanted to put new cushions on our patio furniture but was unable to find any that fit our chairs. Then I decided I would look into making them myself. I found outdoor material at JoAnns on sale so I started my patio project. I say that because once I made the cushions I decided that they would look even better with white chairs instead of the brown so that meant buying spray paint and redoing the chairs. Once that was done I decided to kind of decorate the area a little and I am so pleased with how it turned out. Next project--master bedroom!

Mother-Daughter Lemonade and Cookies Party
Angela is the activity leader in her ward and did the cutest party on Saturday. It is amazing all the wonderful ideas she has running through her mind at any given moment. It was fun to help out a little but she definitely impressed me with her wonderful talent to create a special activity for the girls in the program. I took a picture of the room before she started decorating and then what it looked like when she worked her magic!
Been a While!
I'm not sure what has happened but as you can see I got a little behind with journaling my journey! Much has happened and that is probably why I have not kept up with my blog. I am now a den mother for 10 cub scouts and I have been loving it. Who would have thought that at 63 I would be doing something so out of my comfort zone but how grateful I am that I have this opportunity. I have to tell you these are some of the sweetest boys you could ever know. I have made so many things like stilts!, puddle jumpers, paddle boats to name a few. They don't look very good by I did it and had a ball sharing them with the boys. In the coming months I will show you some of the things the boys are working on.
