Our scuba divers headed to Florida last week. They had hoped to meet up with Owen and Evangeline before they left for Missouri but couldn't make it work. Katie and Perry did some sightseeing and of course went diving off the Florida Keys. I asked Perry how the dive was and he responded back it was great! Here are some pictures from their trip.
Owen gave his final sermon as the Vicar at Hope Lutheran Church today. Evangeline said he did a wonderful job. They will be heading back to St. Louis at the end of the month where he will finish his last year of classes before being ordained. After the service the congregation had a brunch and farewell party for them.

Lexy and Ellis and Ava few back to California and Lexy and Ellis flew back to Utah today. While there, Caleb and Uncle Andy did some boogie boarding at the beach while they were waiting for the plane to arrive. The next morning they had breakfast at Roscoe's for some chicken and waffles. From there they went to Griffith Observatory. For lunch they went to Koreatown where Uncle Andy, Ellis and Caleb tried oxtail soup. Uncle Andy had tripe, intestines, and spleen in his. Ellis had everything they offered in his and Caleb stuck with the meat only. They then went to the Los Angeles Temple. They finished off at the Getty Museum and Uncle Andy said they exhausted themselves looking at all the art.
Perry and Katie spent Saturday at the Flaming Gorge Reservoir in Wyoming to do some scuba diving with other enthusiasts. Here are some pictures of their trip. At the end of the month they are flying out to Florida for another dive and hopefully a brief visit with Evangeline and Owen before they head back to school in St. Louis.
You've probably noticed that I haven't had any pictures from Lincoln. After an unfortunate fall in the bathroom while Lincoln was showering, the phone succumbed. A new one from UK Amazon is suppose to arrive in the morning. In the meantime I thought you'd enjoy this picture that Aunt Amy found under Graham's mattress (where he stores his "treasures") Just in case you don't remember what Lincoln looks like I thought I'd give you a reminder!😂

I signed a new lease for the coming year and once that was done I decided to do a little update here and there. That involved new bedspreads and then a reupholster project of my two barrel chairs. Here are my before and after pictures. I liked the way the chairs turned out. Fortunately, I am not a perfectionist! But I'm also not a quitter. In the process I managed to break every fingernail on both hands and have a number of scratches and bruises. But I am very happy with the end result!
