Will

Will is a member of his high school ballroom dance team and Aunt Amy got to see a video of one of their performances while she was in Utah.  She said he was great.  Yesterday he, along with the other members of the team, performed at the unveiling of a historical marker at the Lehi Roller Mills.

Back in the USA!

Lincoln landed back in Las Vegas, Nevada this afternoon.  His mom picked him up and they headed back to Provo.  In spite of the look on Aunt Amy's face she was really glad to have him home!

The Arizona Hikers

On Friday night Duncan and his dad went on a ward campout and hike.  If you ask Duncan he will tell you it was a good hike.  If you ask Uncle Christian he will tell you he was glad he survived!  I had to remind him that in about four years he's going to have another son to take on campouts and hikes with.  Of course by then he will have some backup boys who will fill his shoes.

I Witnessed a Miracle Today

Two years ago Duncan was reading at a second grade level.  Today I was able to attend the Whitney's ward and see Duncan get up and give a five minute talk.  I still can't believe that he has struggled for so long and now stood in front of the congregation and talked with confidence and taught all of us that you can never give up.  He talked about the Strippling Warriors in the Book of Mormon and told of his premature birth, why he was named Duncan True, and then bore a sweet testimony.  It is still hard to believe that he has overcome so many challenges and yet he never gave up.  He now attends high school at the same school that his older siblings attended and is taking a number of on-line classes each afternoon when he finishes at Highland High.

Latest Project

Each time I sign another year's lease I change up my apartment a little.  This year it was a new comforter for my bed and then I wanted to put a chair in the extra bedroom.  I went to DI where I found a chair for $25.00.  After I bought it I went to Joann's and found the material I wanted to recover it with.  I will be honest!  I did a terrible job and when my blisters and cuts heal I plan to take part of it off and redo it.  But in the meantime this will work!
