A Blast From the Past

Thank you all for the pictures you've sent me this week to celebrate Halloween!  I went back to 2014 while Grandpa and I were serving our mission in New Hampshire and thought I'd share some pictures that I had that your moms sent me.

Provo Cousins

Ava, Jane, and Ruth attended the BYU Halloween dance and then watched Pride and Predjudice  and Zombies!

The Draper Duncan's

Happy Halloween!  I'm curious how many of you remember this movie?

Life Skills

Aunt Amy has been working on helping Duncan become more independent and able to do different things.  This week it was changing out a faulty plug.  He did it!

Caleb

Caleb is keeping busy with marching band performances.  He is now a freshman in high school, going to early morning seminary, taking piano lessons, missing Ava, and continues to be awesome!

Whitney's Pumpkins

Last night there was a Halloween/Pumpkin carving party at the Whitney's.

Toil & Trouble by Eden

To Cute to Spook by Graham

Haunted Castle by Duncan

Orchestra

Tonight I was able to go and hear Eden and other fifth and sixth grade students perform at the Halloween concert.  Besides the instruments, the performers came dressed in their Halloween costume.  It was really nice and of course, Eden was the best!

Pumpkins & Costumes Welcome

Ruth enjoyed a night with friends carving pumpkins.  Here is the one she did.  If you have any pictures of your creations or of costumes be sure and get a picture and send them my way!

Pumpkin Drop

Yesterday Rachel and Austin went to a farm in Pleasant Grove to celebrate Fall.  While they were there they got to see pumpkins dropped on things from a crane. This was a 1900 lb. pumpkin dropped onto the owners old Geo Metro.   Graham would have loved this!  Can you imagine how many pumpkin pies that pumpkin could have made?  Thanks Austin for the pictures.

Party Time

Today we didn't just enjoy our tailgate party in preparation for the BYU/IOWA game but we threw in a little Halloween dinner along with it.  It was fun to plan the menu and I think it turned out really well.

Sloppy Graveyard Sliders

Goblins Ears (Fritos) Spiders Nest Surprise (Deviled
Eggs) and Bloody Eyeballs in Jello

Frankenstein Heads (Rice Krispy Treats)

Hocus Pocus Punch with Frozen Eyeballs

Baked Raven Eyes (Baked Beans)

Chopped Zombie Fingers in Blood Stew
(Tomato Soup with sliced hotdogs)

It was a fun dinner but the best part of the activity was that BYU won!
