College Bound
Scott was excited to see a sign for Dartmouth College the first time we went to Vermont. He wanted to go see the campus and so on Saturday when we realized we weren't going to have a snow storm we decided to make a quick trip up north. Dartmouth College is in a small town called Hanover. It was started in 1769 and is considered an Ivy League university ranking among the greatest academic institutions. They say only 11% of the people who applied last year were accepted. Some of the famous alumni of Dartmouth were Dr. Seuss and Daniel Webster. They listed other names but I didn't know who they were! After driving around the campus and getting some pictures we had a wonderful lunch in a little restaurant on Main Street in Hanover. It turned out to be a very nice day.
