Don't Ask For a Hot Dog!
When we planned our trip to Rhode Island we had two food finds that we were told we must have while there. Since the weather wasn't cooperating we did at least get to enjoy our first find which was a diner with fresh made on site wieners. The article warned us not to call them hot dogs or the people would pretend like they didn't here what we said. Good to know! After wandering for a while until we located the Statue of Roger Williams we headed to Olneyville to enjoy the best wieners in Rhode Island. And actually they were really good. Even more impressive was the diner which had to have been built in the 50's. I felt right at home. If you are ever in Rhode Island don't miss this great place. The second thing we were suppose to find was the best Boston Creme Pie which is in Rhode Island at a bakery but that will be for the next time we go that way!
