Stones to Remember

This morning during my scripture study of Joshua, the podcast I listen to shared the story of the Israelites passing through the Jordan River, and when they got through Joshua sent men to go and collect stones so they could build an altar so that they would always remember what God had done for them.  Tyler said:

"I hope as families individually and collectively, that you have things that remind you of the amazing things that God has done for you and for your loved ones…Don’t just go through life.  Occasionally pause and reflect and look back looking for the hand of the Lord in your life and His power and deliverance, His mercy, His long suffering, His grace, His loving kindness towards you, and that’s what this pile of stones meant.  They represent the connecting with God and knowing He is with us."

That really touched my heart and I started to think about where are my stones to remember all that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have done for me. As I looked around my apartment I realized I do have my stones to remember.  I took some pictures of some of them to share with you.
