It is not just the end of the journey that counts. It's also the journey. It's how we get there. It's who we are becoming along the way and the good we are doing today.

New Friend!
I have a new friend. I met him at the mailbox. As I walked up I quietly sang as I walked so he would hear me coming and not be scared when I walked up. When he got his mail out he turned around and said "hello!" I said hello back and then he began to tell me that he needed a friend. He had just moved into the neighborhood and lives with his dad. He told me his mom left him. I told him that I had moved here just a year ago and I needed a friend too! He stuck out his hand to shake and told me his name was Miles. I think Miles is about 35 and he has Down's Syndrome. I loved him instantly and hope that we will see a lot of each other.
