"When I think of mothers I think of a lot of things, like does all the work, makes the dinners. One really important thing is that Jesus wants us to be alive on the planet because he loves us. So he sent moms to earth to help us get here. That helps make God's plan possible.
It's not always easy to be a mom. Moms have to clean the toilets, bring you a throw up bucket when you are sick and even worry a lot about their children.
Recently my cousin Sara was going to have her second baby. We heard that the baby was going to have problems. He would need a heart transplant because he had a bad heart. I prayed that he wouldn't die and that he would get his heart transplant and he did! I also prayed for Sara because it was hard for her to be at the hospital so much and still take care of her other son.
I still pray for baby Lonnie and for the baby that gave his heart to my cousin. If you have a mother or a wife you should treat her well and politely. When she asks you to do something you should help her. Not just on Mother's Day but on every day.
My favorite things to do with my mom are mother-son dance night, bingo night, reading books in bed together, and just having dinner together and playing games. My mom loves me so much and loves to spend time with me. She taught me to pray and to shower in the sink when I was a baby. She taught me that we can be forgiven of our sins. She told me that when we pray and repent we can be forgiven. One of the best things about my mom is that she loves my Dad's big old bald head.
I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
