Ruth

Ruth found out that she has been selected to be one of the counselors at the For the Strength of
Youth (FSY) summer programs.  I looked on the Church website to find out more about the program.  It said they look for young single adults who are worthy and enthusiastic to be counselors for the youth.  According to the information one of the leaders of the program said of those counselors that they make a powerful connection because the youth look up to them.  They see in these young adults that they've made it and they are happy and energetic.  That certainly describes Ruth and I am excited for her to be able to participate in this great program that has been in existence for over 30 years.  She will be going up to Utah for training and then will be assigned  to work wherever she may be needed throughout the summer.
