For Scott's birthday I planned a dinner at a German restaurant. Scott loved his time in Switzerland as a missionary and loved the food. When I found out about this restaurant I put it on our to do list and his birthday was the perfect time for such a treat. We ended up having a wonderful meal while the snow was falling outside and had one of the best meals ever. It was definitely a five star restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful soup to begin the meal and Scott enjoyed meat patties with a gravy on them and a German potato salad. I had sausage and sauerkraut. We finished off with apple strudel which was amazing. For a brief time we both felt like we were spending some time in Germany. Another great part is that it is only 20 minutes away from our apartment. We will definitely be going back.
