Made in the USA!

One of the documents I photographed today had this wonderful graphic on an invoice from 1898.  I knew Andy would enjoy it and hope you do as well.  You may not be able to see the details but it basically is telling everyone that you don't need importers (the man being squirted by the elephants trunk) bringing in granite from Sweden, Italy, or Scotland because you can get Black Pearl granite right here in Concord, NH.  Uncle Sam is sitting on the elephants back as the elephant kicks over the granite from the other countries.   This is just one of many examples of things we get to see when we work with these wonderful documents.
