Day 7--Biscayne Bay National Park
Today the California Duncan's headed to the coast south of Miami to go to Biscayne Bay National Park. Uncle Andy said most of the park is in the ocean but they had a visitors center on the coast. Ellis and Perry kayaked over to an island key. When they got back Uncle Andy took the two younger ones and did the same thing. From Biscayne they went to the everglades. Much of this trip involved walking on a waterway trail where they saw more alligators, turtles, fish, and giant orange grasshoppers (lubber grasshoppers). Lots of birds and interesting flowers. After everyone was worn out Uncle Andy finally had to stop exploring!
