Blood on the Water

I started reading Anne Perry novels so many years ago I can't even count!  I have never been disappointed because I love a good mystery and she always delivers.  This story had William and Hester searching for the murderer of over 200 people who died when a pleasure boat they were on blew up.  If you like reading mysteries and have an interest in the Victorian period in England then you will definitely enjoy her books. This story revolved around the building of the Suez Canal in Egypt.  I always try to find something in each book that I read that touched a cord with me.  In this one Anne Perry wrote, "You cannot tell people to take into account what they do not wish to know."  So true!
