Apparently a tradition at Highland High is that the seniors start the new school year at a Senior Sunrise service. Ruth said that it is student led but that mostly they all watched together as the sun rose from the east and then visited and reconnected with friends. Ruth and her friends ended the morning at Chick-fil-a for breakfast. I actually love this tradition!!
